Botanical Hair care brand Phyto hosted a party to celebrate its salon-exclusive products at the company’s flagship Phyto Universe on Tuesday night. Guests mingled over hors d’oeuvres and glasses of champagne while company execs described the nine new products in the Phyto Professional line.

“We were looking for a way to combine, founder Patrick Alès’ passion for plants with his hair styling roots and adapt it to the modern stylist,” explained Raphael Yousri, President of Alès Group, USA.

Slated to debut early next year, Phyto Professional features the retail brand’s signature ingredient acacia collagen but offers a more expansive selection of products, including a Glossing Cream, Intense Volume Mousse and Texturizing Paste. 

Celebrity stylist and LA salon owner Andy Lecompte was in attendance and raved about the line before demonstrating the versatility of the products on several models. “I’m looking forward to working with the Phyto Professional line in my own salon. The products are very straightforward and easy to use and will be an easy sell to clients. I am especially in love with the Texturizing Paste, it’s so light weight,” beamed Lecompte. 

“These products are all about quality vs. quantity,” said Marketing Manager Julie Royer, “They’re natural, there’s no build-up, they make your hair healthy and they smell good too!”
