HOME EVENTS COVERAGE Clinique Makes its First Stop on Fresh Faces Tour

Over 200 fans lined up outside Clinique’s “Fresh Faces” mobile makeup, hair and photography studio at New York’s Union Square yesterday for the launch of its rolling super-studio’s national tour. On hand to mark the first stop on the ten-city trip were Clinique President Lynne Greene, Teen Voque Editor-in-Chief Amy Astley, and Gossip Girl superstar Taylor Momsen.

The seven week tour takes professional makeup artists, hair stylists and photographers across the country to offer makeovers and professional quality photographs to attendees. It’s all part of a partnership with Teen Vogue that will recognize three young women as the “Fresh Faces” of Clinique.

Photos from the tour will be uploaded to CliniqueFreshFaces.com for consideration by judges from both the brand and magazine. The winners, announced at the end of the tour, will be flown to New York City for a photo shoot to be featured in Teen Vogue. Winners will also be given a private tour of the Clinique corporate offices and receive a year’s supply of Clinique products. According to the company, “From the minute they step onto the Mobile studio, these three winners will experience the ultimate model treatment.”

"This is about making a girl the star which is why we love being part of this project,” said Astley. Teen Vogue’s Beauty Director Eva Chen will accompany the mobile studio to several key cities to meet with young customers. “It’s so great to see how excited girls get,” said Chen as she described how this kind of experience reenergizes her commitment to her role. “I love to have this personal interaction.”
