Pure DKNY Arrives

E-mail

This week DKNY unveiled a new scent that’s taking environmental initiatives called Pure DKNY.  As an extension to the Pure DKNY clothing line, the fragrance is simple and clean with a focus on pure life moments.

“Women want to do good for the environment, but not at the sacrifice of their product,” commented Trudi Loren, Vice President of Fragrance Development Worldwide for Aramis Designer Fragrances.  “We were able to make this scent as eco friendly as possible and keep the integrity of the brand.”

Vanilla is the main note in the fragrance farmed from Uganda.  Donna Karan partnered with CARE, the humanitarian organization that empowers women and fights against global poverty, to help create the fragrance. The women of Uganda help harvest the Ugandan vanilla, which gives them work and helps them provide for themselves and their families.

The glass bottle is 100 percent recyclable and each size is shaped in the form of raindrops.  The carton and outer wrapping were designed to easily decompose.

Available in 1, 1.7 and 3.4 oz online now and in store late summer.
