Pantene Looks at Hair Structure as Future of Brand

Members of the online media gathered anxiously to meet P&G executives at The Studio in midtown to hear about one of the biggest beauty breakthroughs in a decade. It wasn’t just another new product launch, but instead, a revolution in hair care.  After five years of research, Pantene created a whole line of products created for your hair’s structure.

“In the past, we’ve studied a single fiber or the whole head of hair,” commented Dr. Jeni Thomas, Pantene Senior Scientist.  “This time, we studied the in between to determine the hair structure, how it receives ingredients and how they perform.”

The line targets the four hair types: fine, thick, curly and color treated and includes an array of shampoos, conditioners and styling products for each that will be available in June.  Each addresses the needs of your hairs color, character and styling needs.

“Approaching your hair as a structure is the biggest shift the industry has seen in years,” remarked Danilo, Pantene’s Global Ambassador and celebrity stylist.

Bloggers enjoyed meeting with Danilo to have their hair type diagnosed then getting styled with the new products that match.
